SADC-PF TO OBSERVE ELECTIONS IN TANZANIA

The delegation of five members led by the SADC-PF Secretary General Dr. Esau Chiviya arrived in the country on 22nd of August 2015 to carry out the pre-election observation towards the forth coming general election in Tanzania which is due the coming Octobers.

The pre-election observers are expecting to leave the country on 04th of September 2015 after observing the preparedness level and the readiness of the voters as they are eagerly waiting to elect their next government. While in the country, the delegation managed to meet with the National Electoral Commission team, (NEC), Zanzibar Electoral Commission team, (ZEC), Political Parties forum, Media Council of Tanzania (MCT), MISA Tan, and Association of NGO,s (TANGO).

The SADC-PF is widely renowned for setting benchmarks for free and fair elections.
