POLIS (Parliamentary Online Information System) is a well established system, which comprise of several modular databases. The system provides an index to the proceedings and publications of the Parliament of Tanzania and it includes the full text of Parliamentary motions. The system does also provide flexible and user-friendly forms to facilitate the searching of contents.

The Parliament of Tanzania ensures a timely updating of the contents of the POLIS so as to ensure that different stakeholders and the general public are well informed of the activities of the National Assembly. Further to that, it is the objective of the Parliament to roll-out this system into a reliable source of the information of the Parliament.
